June 4, 1948 - January 14, 2026

Our Beloved Nana, Mother, Sister and Nina, Yolanda Vera Taylor, 77, of Oxnard, CA, went home to be with Our Lord on January 14, 2026.

Yolanda Marta Vera was born on June 4, 1948 to Martha and Joe Vera. She grew up in La Colonia and Rose Park neighborhoods, and attended Oxnard High School.

Yoli worked as a manager at Jay’s Arcade on B Street in Oxnard, and later as a quality control inspector at G&H Technology in Camarillo. She frequented the Alamo in Camarillo every Friday night for many years, having a good time alongside her co-workers and friends.

Yolanda was a diehard Los Angeles Lakers fan since the “Showtime” days. Her favorite player was “Her Man” the Mamba, Kobe Bryant. She proudly showed off her only tattoo, the legendary LA Lakers purple & gold team logo.

Yolanda was a dedicated Catholic and showed her love, loyalty, and faith in the Lord in everything she did. Nana was the matriarch of her family and always expressed to her loved ones the importance of family and togetherness. She adored all her grandbabies and spent her retired years by their side.
